The Green Room is an eco-friendly and affordable space to open up your possibilities with contemporary design to support taking your off-grid ideas into reality.

 

We use a one trip, 20x8ft standard height shipping container as the base to create a robust technology led 150sqft off-grid accommodation that could be your home, office, glamping pod, creative studio, additional accommodation, business space or entertainment suite.

 

Our off-grid self contained ‘Green Room’ has been hand crafted to following spec:

 

⭐️ Dodo thermo liner and TLX muliti foil insulation for superb condensation proofing, noise reduction and insulation values.

⭐️ Anthracite UPVC sliding doors and windows with thermal double glazing.

⭐️ Chipboard flooring on 50mm PIR floor insulation, finished with engineered hardwood flooring.

⭐️ Natural wood interior 19mm pine t&g wall panelling.

⭐️ Painted plywood ceiling with dimmable LED down lights.

⭐️ 4kw cast Iron multi fuel burner. The Reculver Mini stove combines contemporary stove design with a blend of traditional values. The Mini has an attractive look with an excellent steel body and cast iron door, with a variety of heat outputs and super efficiency ratings. 

⭐️ Kitchen area with basin, hot and cold taps, under counter storage unit, solid beech worktop and storage shelving. 

⭐️ Shower room with modern Simploo compost toilet and sink with hot and cold taps.

⭐️ The Mini from Simploo is a compact, stylish design that despite its small footprint packs a punch with its capacity featuring a 9 litre liquid bottle and 19 litre solids container. The new mechanical vanity hatch conceals the solids but can be opened with the flick of a lever on the outside of the loo. It also has an alarm to let you know when it’s time to empty it. The Mini is manufactured with plant based plastic, a renewable resource using state of the art 3D printing technology.

⭐️ 40 litre hot water tank with duel shower pump for maximum pressure.

⭐️ Rain water harvesting system with 200l tank with a triple stage water filtration system. 

⭐️ 240v internal mains wiring with plenty of usb double sockets and tv aerial socket.

⭐️ Fully off grid capable, with option of backup generator at additional cost (starting from £500).
