What sets Halo Habitats apart is our commitment and passion for creating bespoke alternative and off grid builds. Our builds are not only beautiful to look at, but they are sustainable and of superior quality. Here are some of our previous builds and projects.
Garage Conversion
Rundown garage renovated into a fully insulated garden cabin and beautiful healing workspace. Complete with its own private garden, and extension to add a kitchen and bathroom.
There is also accessible garage storage space at the front, which includes a little kitchenette.
Garden Yoga Studio
An adorable fully insulated wooden frame purpose built garden yoga studio with wooden cladding. We have recently fitted a wood burner to complete the studio and create a snuggley and beautiful space for our client to practice and work in.
Woodland Cabin
A woodland timber frame cabin. Clad with gunmetal grey corrugated metal and using reclaimed tilt turn German wooden framed windows. The cabin has a fitted kitchen, separate internal bathroom and multi fuel burner. We also built a porch which joins the cabin onto the parked up truck to create an extra living space!
Converted 'Fold-out' Horsebox
'Harriott, the winged chariot; is a sheep's wool insulated extendable horsebox camping pod. With hand milled oak cladding, she is an absolute beauty!
The fold out mechanisms are also designed by Jens, which doubles the internal living space.
As you can imagine she gets a LOT of attention when she's out and about.
'The Green Room'
'The Green Room' is an off-grid and self contained creative living space design.
Using a one trip 20x8ft standard height shipping container to create a robust technology led 150sqft off-grid accommodation that could be your home, office, clamping pod, creative studio, additional accommodation, business space or entertainment suite.
With rain water harvesting, solar panels and a high tech compost toilet, 'The Green Room' is an eco-friendly and afford space to open up your possibilities with contemporary design to support taking your off-grid ides into reality.
